This brand new jettied house was commissioned to look as authentic as possible whilst meeting modern building requirements.

Designs faithfully follow original methods and styles as far as possible. For example, rather than having double glazing installed, the walls had additional insulation added to make traditional leaded lights a legal solution.

A traditional ledged plank door. Rose nailed construction with hand forged hinges and latch.

A carriage stair with top winders. These stairs are supported on a pair of sloped timbers with the tread/riser units nailed to triangular blocks supported on the top face.
